These terms apply when you use the Lens Society website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. This website is operated by Lens Society, and the legal entity is named in the disclosure at the bottom of every page.

Information only, not medical advice

The articles, guides and answers on this website are general information. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for an eye exam. Only an eye doctor who examines you can tell you what is right for your eyes. Reading the website does not create a doctor and patient relationship.

Not for emergencies

Do not use this website, the request form, or email for urgent problems. If you have sudden vision loss, a curtain or shadow over your vision, a chemical splash, an eye injury, or severe eye pain, call 911 or go to an emergency department right away.

Requests are not confirmed appointments

Sending a request through the website does not book an appointment. An appointment is confirmed only when our staff contact you and agree on a time. If you do not hear from us, call the office. If the website links to an online scheduler, the booking terms of that service also apply.

Frames, availability and prices

We try to keep frame information accurate, but brands, models, colors, sizes and stock change often, and photos may not match exactly. A frame shown on the website may not be in the store when you visit, and saving a frame as a favorite does not reserve it.

Prices are not offered through this website. A price applies only when our staff quote it to you in the store or when you confirm an order with us. Insurance benefit information we give you is an estimate, and your plan makes the final decision on what it pays.

Links to other services

The website may link to services run by other companies, such as an online appointment scheduler, an online frame store, maps, and social media. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or how they handle your information.

Using the site fairly

Please do not misuse the website. That includes trying to break or overload it, getting around the spam check, sending automated or false requests, or sending content that is unlawful or harmful.

Content and trademarks

The text, design, logo and original photos on this website belong to Lens Society or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal use, but please do not copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Eyewear brand names and logos belong to their owners. Showing a brand on this website does not mean the brand owner sponsors or endorses Lens Society.

Limits on responsibility

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be error free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, Lens Society is not responsible for losses that come from using the website or relying on its general information.
