Accessibility statement
Last updated October 20, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is our target, and we keep working on it as the site changes.
What we have done
- Keyboard use. Menus, links, buttons and the request form can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Color contrast. Text and controls were checked against the WCAG contrast levels in both light and dark display modes.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site limits animation.
- Labels and instructions. Form fields have written labels, and errors are described in text, not by color alone.
- Screen sizes. Pages were checked at phone, tablet and desktop widths, and text can be enlarged without losing content.
- Structure. Pages use headings and landmarks so assistive technology can move through them.
We do not use accessibility overlay tools. We make changes in the site itself.
Known limitations
- Services run by other companies. The online appointment scheduler and online frame store, when linked, are run by outside providers. Their accessibility is outside our control. If either one does not work for you, call the office or use our contact page and we will help directly.
- Spam check. The request form uses a bot check. If it blocks you, contact us another way and we will take your request.
- Photos. We are still reviewing the descriptions (alt text) on some photos. Until that review is done, some descriptions may be brief.
Getting help
If any part of this website is hard to use, we will get you the information another way. Call the office using the number on our contact page, or send a request there, and tell us what you need. We can read information to you over the phone, send it in a format that works for you, or help you request an appointment directly.
If you have questions about getting into and around the office, ask us before your visit. Our visit page has location details.
Feedback
Tell us about any barrier you find, including the page and what happened. We aim to respond within five business days. Your feedback goes to the team that maintains this website.
