How we chose these
We list public agencies and nonprofits that serve people in Macomb County with low vision or blindness, and that publish how to reach them. We checked each one on October 24, 2026 and recheck every three months. Being listed here does not mean a partnership or an endorsement, and we receive nothing from any of them. If something has changed, please tell us through our contact page.

When to see an eye doctor
Vision that is getting worse should be checked, even when glasses no longer seem to help. Sudden vision loss, a curtain or shadow over your vision, an eye injury or severe eye pain need care right away: call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
