How Troy connects to our office

The mile roads change names at Dequindre. In Troy, 15 Mile Road is called Maple Road, and 16 Mile Road is Big Beaver Road. That means many Troy households can reach us on a road they already drive every day.

  • Maple Road becomes 15 Mile Road when you cross Dequindre into Sterling Heights. Stay on it heading east, across Mound Road and Van Dyke (M-53), to Schoenherr Road. Our office is on 15 Mile near that corner.
  • Big Beaver Road becomes 16 Mile (Metro Parkway) in Sterling Heights. If you come this way, turn south on Schoenherr Road to reach 15 Mile.

Your map app will give you the best route for the time of day. Parking and arrival details are on our visit page.

What you can come in for

  • Eye exams. A comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Yousif Ghaleb, O.D., checks how clearly you see and the health of your eyes, and ends with time for your questions.
  • Contact lenses. A contact lens exam and fitting is separate from a glasses exam, because the doctor checks how a lens fits on your eye.
  • Children’s eye exams. We see children from age 3. Our children’s eye exam page explains how a visit works and what a parent or guardian should expect.
  • Dry, red or irritated eyes. Dry eye care and medical eye care visits are for eye problems, and your medical insurance may apply instead of your vision plan.
  • Glasses from your current prescription. If you have a current prescription from another eye doctor, you can bring your prescription and choose frames here.
  • Frames and sunglasses. See the brands we carry, then try frames on with an optician in the boutique.

Our insurance page lists the vision and medical plans we accept, plus self-pay prices.
